An epic game by SEGA producer producer Toshihiro Nagoshi, this spin-off in Yakuza franchise is a prequel set 400 years in the past. Gone are the neon signs of Tokyo and Osaka, now replaced by the neon signs of an Edo Period Kyoto, in a story that both echoes and sets up the types of events seen in the ensuing franchise episodes. The main character, Kazumanosuke Kiryu, is a bodyguard who will take on any job if the price is right. He is approached by a young girl named Haruka, who asks him to kill a man ... but this man, Musashi Miyamoto, is someone who Kiryu cannot kill, for this is the name he formerly used before adopting an alter-ego in an attempt erase his past. Why does this girl want Miyamoto dead, and what will Kiryu do now that he knows that no matter what he calls himself, he's a man marked for death?



Outside of an adult-oriented storyline, Yakuza 3 appears to bring back much of what made the original two games so special. In addition to exploring a living town, you'll get to make use of an updated combat system. You can now select between four fighting styles. Your character will grow and evolve as the game progresses, and you can take up a variety of side-quests as well as play a number of minigames such as shogi, dice and archery. Players can also enter the Hostess Clubs, giving you a chance to woo the ladies in seedy tatami rooms.

Plot summary


From pioneering ninja movie writer-director Seiji Chiba(Alien Vs. Ninja; Rogue Ninja),
and starring 19-year-old karate sensation-turned-actress Rina Takeda (Karate Girl;
High-Kick Girl) comes Ninja Girl, an ass-kicking blast of martial arts action.

As the fierce rivalry between the Iga and Kouga ninja clans rages on, a pair of psychotic
eunuch ninjas, Shimotsuki and Hyotsuki, are tasked with abducting young women from nearby
Kouga villages and forcing them to serve as "tools of pleasure" to the lower-ranking members
of their clan. While transporting their latest quartet of victims, including a feisty girl
called Kisaragi(Rina Takeda), through the woodlands back to their own village, they are
suddenly intercepted by an unknown man who helps the four women to escape by providing
Kisaragi with a sword, which she uses to sever their bonds.

Shimotsuki and Hyotsuki eventually give chase to the escaped women, intending to recapture
them and complete their mission as ordered. But they get much more than they bargained for
when they realize Kisaragi is a Kougan kunoichi, a highly skilled female ninja who is
determined to smash the Igas evil flesh trafficking heritage to which her own mother once
fell victim.

Not having watched this fully yet, but from what I have picked
up from doing the subtitles, this seem to be a fairly strange ninja
movie with an unexpected plot, but it does have one of the best ever
ninja quotes that I have heard!

"The ninja will lose his agility, if his thing is bitten off."
